In a partnership with the Texas Seaport Museum and the Galveston Historical Foundation, a new course providing college credit for sail training on board the tall-ship ELISSA is being proposed. The new course will combine 14 hours of lecture on maritime life and seamanship skills with over 80 hours of hands-on training.
