The research and animals illustrated in many of the images on our website were performed under a variety of permits ranging from Texas A&M animal use permits, federal marine mammal and endangered species permits, to permits from local authorities for remote fieldwork. In some instances, use of these images requires listing of the permit number under which images were collected. Please check our permits page in the projects section for details.

We do not collect any information from visitors to our site other than counting visits anonymously. We do not use cookies. The search terms entered into the LABB website search engine provided by FreeFind are emailed to us on a monthly basis. These terms are emailed to us anonymously without any reference to the computer, site or person performing the search, and we do not keep any records of these terms. We will keep any information fully confidential, that is submitted to the LABB webmaster of this site in response to a solicitation on this site, or to inquire about the use of artwork, images, data or documents, or is related to the submission of material to be used on this website.
