All documents, data, images and artwork on the LABB website are copyrighted by various people and/or organizations! Unless otherwise specified, the copyright holder is the LABB or the LABB director. The research and animals illustrated in many of the images on our website were performed under a variety of permits ranging from Texas A&M animal use permits, federal marine mammal and endangered species permits, to permits from local authorities for remote fieldwork. In some instances, use of these images requires listing of the permit number under which images were collected. Please check our permits page in the projects section for details.

Feel free to download and use images, artwork or complete documents free of charge, providing:

  1. You give proper credit to the copyright holder as listed, or to the LABB if none are listed.
  2. You agree not to sell these images, artwork or documents for profit, and you agree not to profit from the distribution.

We share some of the data from our research projects for other suitable research projects, including metadata analyses, once we have completed our analyses and publications.

 

Privacy Statement:

We do not collect any information from visitors to our site other than counting visits anonymously. We do not use cookies. The search terms entered into the LABB website search engine provided by FreeFind are emailed to us on a monthly basis. These terms are emailed to us anonymously without any reference to the computer, site or person performing the search, and we do not keep any records of these terms.
